With all the speed cameras and police patrols that are invested to uphold ‘road safety’, we should feel rest assured that our roads are safe. Not so. Police, cameras and action are employed under the disguise of ‘road safety’ but efforts are merely raising revenue in areas where drivers are easily caught out. Areas where road safety really matters are not being policed.

As a lad I was always interested in the mechanics of bicycles, motor bikes and cars; in that order. I spent hours stripping things down, improving them in some way and then putting them back together. Our first port of call over our August Bank Holiday break was Bourton-On- the Water.
